flexicontent is getting almost at the same level as the one day old iPad in terms of being mysterious, by not letting all the expecting users know what's going on with such as .... late, how late, what was the stumbling point, what can the user base you have earned do to help out..., what/when can we expect... i see now the second tweet related to some meeting held or to be held by some group... sure its within the developers right to let us users know what's going on so the only thing we can do is pledge, so please let us know what, where, when... flexicontent heading hope this doesn't come as me being nasty, to the contrary, its my hope that this excellent cck extension for joomla gets recognition and we get on with working with it in production instead of having it as a toy locally installed and to play and experiment with, and to make it successful to that degree communicating with the users is one of the keys (w/o mentioning any specific i think a look at some contenders (edit: hmmm not really contenders but lets say other cck efforts) and how they are handling this part could help) keep it up!

It uses the normal com_content article and category tables in the database. However flexicontent urls are different, and that's why sh404sef doesn't work out of the box. For now (until someone releases a plugin), the native SEF works fine. This semi-compatibility does make it easier to integrate extensions, but while anything that creates urls usually "works", it needs to be updated to handle Flexicontent urls unless you don't mind duplicate content and poor SEO.

I haven't tried it out yet, but if it is truly a com_content sublayer, then shouldn't it work with sh404sef by default? Or do I misunderstand this http://www.flexicontent.org/features/a-comcontent-sub-layer.html ?

Congrats. It seems you have a really great package here. I'm looking forward to trying this out. I also think the jcomments here are very good. I was just wondering if it's possible to change the color of the text. The light gray on white makes it difficult to read.

More great news for everyone! Slick documentation. Great work! Do you need Windows to run that? p.s. if you have access to Acrobat, you can set a pdf to have a nice menu like that in the sidebar without much trouble.
