Hello,
in back end item list, we are able to display a new row for a custom field.
Is it possible to order by this field or better filter by this field?

For example, i want to remove all items with the custom field value X to a new category. That could be usefull to filter the item list to get only the item with this property.

Hello

the Field filters were revised they can be displayed in
- item form (already for a non public automatic-relations field)
- and it is very much possible in other views,

estimated time for backend manager would be 1 hour to 1 day implementation, but we don't have it now, you can open an enhancement issue in our GitHub repository, it will be accepted for v3.x

- similar for ordering (backend) it should be easier

- for frontend ordering via custom fields, our frontend ordering selector in v3 BETA7 already has very configurable ordering
see here what is new in B7:

Hello,
the idea is to get filter custom fieldin the backend item list.
Not to order items but to list it. For example, i want the list of all item with the fieldX value Y. I get the list and i can select all and do an action on it (change category or dispublish for example).

I can get the list in front end using filter but i can do none action on it. So to manage it in backend that could be usefull.
