Poll plugin in article was created by raj87
Hello,
I can generally add a poll to an article with {mijopolls ID} in the core editor.
In flexicontent,
I created a select field,
SQL query : (does not let me post the correct code here) sel id a val and desc a s test from polldb
Value prefix:"{mijopolls "
Value suffix "}"
In the edit/add form, it correctly lists all the polls from DB.
I create an article and select one of the polls.
But poll does not show in article. I'm probably doing something stupid. What could be the problem?

Thanks,

Hello

make sure that plugin code is correct,

and
1. enable content plugin trigger parameter
2. select only the specific plugin (better performance in category view, for item view it makes no difference)

- if selecting specific plugin does not work
or if the plugin does not appear in the list then select NONE (=all)

Thanks.
In my case the problem was way more stupid. It looks like I dint save the template after adding the field. Original problem solved thanks.

I need help with something related.
In my website, I can have multiple articles with a single embedded poll (Lets say Poll-A).
When I open the Poll details page, like
mockingpen.com/polls/1-monsato
I want a FLEXIcontent - Universal Content module to list all articles that have the embedded poll. Or basically all articles that have the SELECT FIELD Poll(described in my first post) set to the poll title or id(information from webpage address) on the poll detail page. How can I implement this?

Flexicontent is just awesome.
Thank you,

in universal module you can use custom field scop like fieldID##value => that display only item with same value in this field

Thanks Micker,
But it does not solve the problem completely.

To explain a little more.
in my website, I have many articles and many polls.
One field of the article is the "poll id"

When I open any poll detail I want to see all articles that have the poll id field set to that poll.
So it has to be a dynamic filter.

The poll is not a flexicontent component. But the poll id is available in the URL on the poll details page. I somehow need to use dynamic filtering to filter all articles with that poll id.
I hope the problem is clearer now. Can you help with this?

it's a pool dev ...
the best way will be => add poll in flexicontent in item and use field to link item, 2 ways :
-relation field
-universal modul with field scop
