Hi

I've been using Flexicontent for years and I cannot thank you enough for your great extension and support.

I have an issue with Flexicontent_items_versions table which is now hundreds of thousands of records with Gigabytes of size which is nearly 90% of my DB size.

I have searched the forum , found some topics with no CLEAR answer to this question:

Is there any "Clean Up" or something to help me have this reduced.

Thanks in advance
Best

you can but you will lost all version content ...
maybe simply disable versionning in global config at first

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

1. first go to component configurations and select to keeps a small number of versions:
e.g. 5 versions

2. then empty , aka "truncate" 2 SQL tables (BOTH of them):
In mySqlAdmin or similar too execute:
Code:
TRUNCATE TABLE `PREFIX_flexicontent_items_versions` TRUNCATE TABLE `PREFIX_flexicontent_versions`

in the above code replace :
PREFIX
with your db prefix
