Item images in category view are all presented in a larger than original size
this tail is on each image &w=200&h=200&aoe=1&q=95
<img src="/components/com_flexicontent/librairies/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=http://domain.com/images/restaurants/logos/china-springs.jpg&amp;w=200&amp;h=200&amp;aoe=1&amp;q=95" alt="China Springs" class="hasTooltip" title="" data-original-title="<strong>Read more about</strong><br />China Springs">

The original code <img src="images/restaurants/logos/china-springs.jpg" alt="China Springs Restaurant The Woodlands" title="China Springs in Indian Springs" />

Is Flexicontent causing this to happen? If so, how do I stop it?
Thanks

Hello

You can show your image without resizing URL
by:
- either adding an image/gallery field in a field position

- or if using "blog" template for category view (this seems to be your case)

go to 'blog' 's category layout parameters and in it select to use a pre-created thumbnail of the image-gallery field
! do this for both "leading" and "intro" items of the item listing of the 'blog' 's category layout
(i mean the parameters shown in picture appear twice)

Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Thank you for the very quick response!

I have checked the blog layout parameters both in the category and in global config and the dropdown (attached image) only has two options but the second option doesn't appear to be selectable.
Choosing any of the size buttons makes no difference
All of the intro images are of a standard width but the heights (currently) vary.

I am curious as to why you say to not use the parameter size(?) preset option as it is the only one that works for me.
I really like flexicontent; it's rather overwhelming with all of the options. :silly:
