Flexibreak toc in position or field

Flexibreak toc in position or field was created by tobajarrat

Hi guys!

I wish to use the TOC generated by flexibreak in an flexicontent template position or even in a field. flexibreak placement is set to $item->toc
In the "default" template is a code snippet

Code:

if (isset($item->toc)) {
	$item->fields['text']->display = $item->toc . $item->fields['text']->display;
}

which has no effect, because if i comment this out (item.php and item_html5.php), toc is still prepending to description.
I also have no clue how to put the toc in a field or position.

Maybe someone can help me.
Joomla and flexicontent is up to date

Hello

so you have enabled placement via $item->toc

if you do inside (item.php and item_html5.php),

Code:

die($item->toc);

1. does execution stop ?
2. does execution stop and you also see the TOC ?

Hi ggppdk,

placement via $item->toc is enabled.

Code:

if (isset($item->toc)) {
	$item->fields['text']->display = $item->toc . $item->fields['text']->display;
}

is replaced with

Code:

die($item->toc);

into item.php and item_html5.php causing plain white page.

Im using latest joomla and latest Flexicontent

Hello

yes i see that it is empty,
it is a bug, the parameter has no effect|

so the placement of TOC cannot be customized in current version

Because I know you are one of the developers of Flexicontent and very busy even in this support forum, should I post this issue anywhere as a bug for further treatment, or did you already?

this is a low priority bug,
but you can create a new issue here:
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/issues

so that this is not forgotten
