Hi!
I use Tags like selector for filters.
When page loads it looks like this:

After page fully loaded, it looks normal:

Is it possible to hide this field during page loads or change its appearance?
Thanks.

Hello

yes indeed , i was also thinking that this looks a little ugly / bad UX
and was thinking of adding a
style="visiblity: hidden; max-height: 1em;"
or a
style="display: none"
or a CSS class

to hide it until the select2 JS takes effect

Hi!
I didn't undrestand how to fix it.
Or will you fix it in future releases.

I want to notice, that for users with slow bandwidth, filter block will looks ugly...
Moreover, with fast internet it is also very noticeable.

Hello

i have commited the fix (UX improvement) for this
this is for all multi-select field filters and for both category view and search view

it was a little trickery because
- the select2 JS copies the CSS classes of the SELECT tag
- we need to care for the times that select2 is not added e.g. in mobiles / tablets it is not loaded

you may test it too, but i tested and it is proper
