Hi,
I read a lot on this but i don't get why i have the date shown in english in a french site.
I use a date field formatted in category view with %M %Y.
As the pages are in french (and the site too), i should have "Août 2017" for a date. Unstead of this, i have the date in english as "August 2017"...
What did i miss ?
Thanks :)
Xavier

Hello

we need to make some fixes for J3.7 new calendar related to date field and date filter,
some were already made and included in v3.1.1

together with the above mentioned work, we will check this language issue too

Hello

yes, the same format is used in previous Joomla versions

We can fix this at least when the filter is displayed as a date picker
- but we will stick to same format if using a e.g. drop down to display Year/Months etc

OK... So, do i have a way to display my month in french or not for now ? Even by adding some "setlocale" in some file...
If my customer see "august", he's going to "make a story" for this.
Thanks :)

You mean translate when showing date filter as
Year-Month (nnn)
In a select drop down ?

I think , it is possible to manually split it translate and reattach year and counter
