How to allow administrators change items authors?

Hi! As super user I can change items authors:



But as administrator I can't do this:



I've checked ACL for admins - all Action are allowed:

scroll a little down more
and find section "Item form"

then try giving to this usegroup ACL privilege:
"Edit creation date"

and test if it works

I no need to change creation date. I need to change author for item.
As I can see for Administrator group all actions are allowed.

aaa i miss read your posting

About author of items
such usage was considered uncommon

so we granted this privilege only to super admins

and choose
not to add new ACL rule and also
not to use any other existing ACL rule
to control it

So, it's impossible to create new user group with this privilege?

As be honest it's strange limitation.
Explain.
I'm site developer - so I'm Super User. I have access to all sections.
My client - is company boss. He is Administrator. He don't need access to settings, modules, plugins.
But he need access to users, categories and content.
So, it is normal if Administrator need to change author for items.
For example, employee was fired, and we need to assign new employee.
