image gallery Fatal error... was created by cpb

Get this on trying to open image gallery under fields.
Fatal error: Call to a member function getValue() on a non-object in............... /administrator/components/com_flexicontent/views/field/view.html.php on line 110

any help have upgraded to joomla 3 from 2.5 but not noticed this till now.
Installed Version: 2.2.1 rc
any help thanks

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
