Hello
I use the V3.0.0 beta 3.0.0 c
I have a 'display categories' menu. I have 2 categories the order criter is a customized one (elements of google addres field)

I want to display the elements of the 1st category order following the address of each article, and then the same for the second category. Each category needs to begin with the 'category title'

The criter order is a text field which contains in the opening text for field : {{adresse##0##country}}|{{adresse##0##city}}|{{adresse##0##zip}}|{{item->title}}

I have used the parameters in the menu record and in each category.

The page exemple : adcj.fr/adcj/index.php/les-livres/ou-trouver-nos-livres

How can I correct it ?

thank you for help

best regards

Michel

Hello

you can only order by single property fields,
e.g. text, date, select, radio

Hello
the order criter I have chosen is a text field. This field is a hidden field which contains the following prefix :
Code:
{{adresse##0##country}}|{{adresse##0##city}}|{{adresse##0##zip}}|{{item->title}}
(adresse is a International Address / Google Maps field).

Can a hidden field containing the values of another field can be used a sort order.

An example of list page can be seen here : adcj.fr/adcj/index.php/les-livres/ou-acheter-nos-livres

best regards

Michel

Hello

please note that:
the ordering is done on the DB value of the field,

so what you have set as
- value prefix / suffix, etc
is just added when field is displayed and is not relevant or usable during ordering
