did you actived plugin execution in your field ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

- If the field is in a field group the content plugins are not triggered

You need to edit the configuration of fieldgroup field that contains the textarea field
and enable in it, the "Trigger content plugins" parameter
