I think I have found a bug but I haven´t been able to reproduce it

I have found that some groups have permissions on categories that I haven´t grant

It is possible that the category was granted permissions for a group, later deleted and finally, when I added a new category this one had the same id? what about deleting groups?

Hello

if you create categories via FLEXIcontent category manager
or via Joomla category manager

then it is not possible for a new category to get the id of a category that has been deleted
this because the new ID is not specified, the 'id' column is an AUTO-increment column

The applies to everything, items, fields, files, etc,
and it applies to almost all Joomla extensions too

only way to get a new category to get the id of an old deleted category is to make it with a custom SQL query
that specified the ID
