[SOLVED] Numeric field formatting, number is corrupted/changed during output

I defined a new field called price. If enter a value such as $9499.00 it displays correctly in the front end. If I enter $9,499.00 (inserting a coma) it displays $9 only. It seems like the coma is a delimiter. I tried to mask it as currency or decimal, but I get the same result.

It is version 3.0 BETA6b, the latest I think.
I am using Joomla 3.4.1
PHP version 5.6.8

in you field => check prefix and suffix and value separation for each value

Prefix and Suffix are empty.
The Value Seperator has: Empty(No Characters). I changed this value but it had no effect.
There must be something else. Thanks for trying.

please go to field's configuration and inside the "Viewing" TAB

turn off "Language filter" values


-- we will changed default value to "no" for text, textselect fields
to avoid this problem, as default behavior treating values as language strings is not needed and is problematic too
