Will Fieldgroups multi-value eventually enable JCE editor to load by default?

Hi,

I'm looking at multi-value - and see that:

Only editors based on: tinyMCE(built-in or 3rd party) and CodeMirror are supported, otherwise the HTML editor on new values will appear only after saving.

Why is it unable to work now?
Will it be able to work in a later version of FLEXIcontent?

I see this as being problematic for clients as it adds an extra step in the process.

Thanks,

Robert

Hello

i am sorry for later response,

I believe this was working till recently (a couple of months ?) where JCE newer version changed something ?

Support for this can probably be restored

Hi ggppdk,

Its fine - I know you're busy with the launch of the new FLEXIcontent.

You're correct that it was working until a few months ago.

However - I also tested redactorjs ( extensions.joomla.org/extension/redactorjs-editor/ ) - and experienced the same problems.

So - I'm thinking its more of a flexicontent or Joomla change.

Did the old working version have an issue where it copied the same content? I'm looking at an old site where its functioning - and when I click new it copies the same content.

Thanks,

Robert

Hello

i have looked at it a little, could not find a quick solution
it would need more time to support,
so will leave restoring support for this as future work
