Hi,

In category view, not all the plugins seems to run in the description compared to item view. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Thanks for your help?

hello
you need to allow triggering plugin in categorie view for each field

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I have "Trigger inside category" set to "Yes" for the Description field and it's working but not for all plugins. I have a Disqus plugin and it works on both category and item view and I also have a Responsive widget plugin to automatically put Youtube videos at 100% and it only works on item view.

Thanks!

The thing is that it works in Joomla's category blog menu item, so he's gonna say that it works fine. I guess I'm really stuck here.

Thanks anyway.

If it does work in Joomla category view then but not in flexicontent item view

then it probably means that plugin author is checking that current component is:
com_content
and if it is not then plugin does not run,

Thus it is a deliberate thing done by the author

So you may post a question to the author,
asking author if plugin is prevented from running in other components
