Select several items in category view was created by ilo

Hello
I'm looking for a way to select several items in a category view, to apply a button (like publish or unpublish) to those diffents items in the same time.
How is it possible to add a field that displays a checkbox on an item with a category view (and not only with a submission form) ?
And how is it possible to add a button on a category view, that can apply to all items checked ?
Do I have to develop a plugin or something exists allready ?

no you need to dev something

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
