Thumbnail creation error, associé à certaines pages flexicontent

le site conceerné www.newworcq.be/index.php
problème: voir menu Savoir sous-menu Culture: dans les liens intro proposés deux au moins s'affichent avec un petit carré blanc avec message erreur en rouge. Je n'arrive pas à décoder ce message encore moins à corriger.
Si je clique sur "lire la suite" l'affichage de la page est correct.

pmleconte sur le forum joomla.fr m'apporte son aide éclairée:
PhpThumb est un générateur de vignette (thumbnail en anglais) d'après phpthumb.sourceforge.net/ , il me semble appeler par une de vos extensions, mais, là, je n'ai pas assez d'information.

Pour avoir l'erreur complète, il faut trouver le fameux fichier de config. donné dans le message d'erreur.

Le message d'erreur et les suggestions avisées de pmlecomte sont sources d'informations mais je ne vois pas comment les exploiter. Je ne sais pas ce que je dois faire.

Comme l'erreur parait associée à flexicontent, je lance un appel à l'aide sur le forum. Merci, toute suggestion est bienvenue.

(and make the real error message appear)
1. in file components/com_flexicontent/libraries/phpThumb/phpThumb.config.php
change line:
$PHPTHUMB_CONFIG = true;
to
$PHPTHUMB_CONFIG = false;
ok
2. revisit the page that contains the error,
message erreur identique not change
3. check if the error is now shown,
NOTE: if the error is not shown, then right click on the image thumbnail and
- copy the thumbnail URL
- then paste it into the address bar and open it
ok adress image thumbnail open the image post "lire la suite"
absence de vignette? Comment corriger, fix error
4. review the error message (search for word "error"), to find the reason and correct the problem

5. set disable_debug back to true

Intuitively, I loaded the photo displayed on the page after read more
I loaded into the media content
the small rectangle with red error disappeared within three pages (know-culture)
the error is now a small square picture (not found) and the link to read more normally functioning.
the address of the copied image shows the page after 'read more'
And in addition I have this time the thumbnail top
