Bonjour à l'équipe,

Environnement utilisé: joomla 3.4.5 + flexicontent 3.0.9-rc6c + php 5.4.45
Mon site comporte 2 langues.

Arnaud

Hello

1) do you speak of some fields sharing = using the same value in ALL translations ?
the above can be done with the "Untranslatable" property (parameter) inside field configuration,
so do you mean the above ?
what is the problem with it ?

2) The (*) next to the translation is done by looking at the modification time of the items
is it wrong (= it does not respect the modification times) ?

Hello ggppdk,

1) Yes exactly, I use this function for a long time now but before my recent FLEXIcontent update (3.xx) when I was editing the translation of my main item, I could not edit these fields marked "Untranslatable" because there is no need (= using the same value in ALL translations), but since the update, i can change it in all translations, is it normal (just want to know if it's a bug on my installation or not)? Because, It's quite confusing when you edit a translation and that you have access to all the fields again...

2)Don't know of it's a bug of the last update, but for me, FLEXIcontent don't look at the modification time of the items, i can edit my main item a few times but the translated version in the "Items" interface never add the (*), the tooltip say always "Up to date" and it's wrong.

Hello

i missed your post

1) yes it is intentional to make editing easier

2) it sounds like a bug,
on 1st look i confirm that items manager does consider the modification time correctly to show which items need updating
- should be quite easy to fix the existing code:
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/issues/419
(v3.0.9 milestone)
