A presentation about the FLEXIcontent advanced content management system and CCK for Joomla was given at JoomlaDay France 2013 by Maxime Danjou, NetAssoPro Co-founder, and Yannick Berges, Global Moderator Flexicontent.org forum.
The presentation covered information about the FLEXIcontent project, installation, functions, overall concept, plug-ins, templating, modules, developer info, showroom of sites using FLEXIcontent, and the future of the project.
The well attended presentation (over 100 users) lasted about an hour, with another one hour workshop afterwards to demostrate FLEXIcontent.
The presentation slides (in French) are available for viewing on the FLEXIcontent.org website here: FLEXIcontent Presentation - JoomlaDay France 2013
After a long period of silence, we are happy to introduce you the new FLEXIcontent release. This release is more stable than ever. As this release contains two security fixes, all users should upgrade immediately. All confirmed issues found in the tracker have been solved and some exciting new features that we developed for our clients have been enclosed in. I would like to say thank you to all the forum team that always supported the project even if I didn't give them many information and of course to all the users that continue using and supporting the project.
We finally did it!!! Here is the new version of FLEXIcontent with full frontend editing feature. Suriya (enjoyman) from Marvelic did a great job as usual and we are happy to offer this new feature which will the software reach a higher level. You have all been waiting this feature for a long time...
... now you’ve got it!
This new release doesn’t introduce major changes in terms of features except multiple bug fixes and performance improvements as well as compatibility with the full FLEXIcontent new frontend submit/edit feature. In order to use FLEXIaccess with FLEXIcontent 1.5.3 you’ll need this new 1.0.5 release because there’s a new method to filter the frontend permissions.
FLEXIaccess is now FULLY compatible with the excellent Akeeba backup component from my friend Nicholas.
