334 CSV import: Importing images / documents /documentation/tutorials-english/80-advanced-usages/334-csv-import-importing-images-documents.html

-- CSV import is powerful, but please note it is meant for experienced users,  that know what a CSV file is, so you will need to know the format of your CSV file so that you can configure it,
... at FLEXIcontent backend click the IMPORT tab and scroll to bottom to see an example file

-- About importing images (into an image/gallery field) or documents (into file field):
this is implemented in v2.1.1+

a. upload all your files to your website e.g. via FTP, in a folder without subfolders (setting image name to have sub-folder before its name is not tested)

e.g.upload your images in
tmp/images_import

e.g.upload your document files in
tmp/docs_import

b. configure the above folders in the import form, and click to prepare data, a preview will appear and you can check if the format of your file was configured correctly and if the image / document files were found

if something is wrong, then go back to reconfigure the form, otherwise click to start the import task
