In Flexicontent you can customize the loading system

Go to global config > CSS styles

and scroll down to "Page reloading" part

Here you can change any elements of you loading page. 

• Background overlay
• Content box element color
• Change image (animate gif compatible)
• Change text
• Customize loading bar

Just notice that loading animation is same for front and backend
