Reduce number of components to speed website and update too
Show special fields for some specific articles
fields can be easy linked for most a major plugins to show maps, documents, audio, video ...
compatible with most of comments components, i use komento from my side
Compatible with joomfish and falang for multilingual articles
Fully customizable for CSS specialist, no need to be a a king of php to easely modify specific template

FC team works a lot to keep his component update with the last joomla version (J3.3)

I've barely begun to scratch the surface of this feature-packed CCK component. I was intimidated at first, but I found it very intuitive and relatively easy to use. It is so flexible with so many options, I'm surprised that it is free. The field, type, search, layout, and multicategory features of this extension are truly impressive. I'm still exploring this component, but with the documentation, and answer-filled and well-responded forums, the learning curve isn't steep at all. The dedicated service and support is second to none - my errors were solved within minutes. One more thing, this extension is being regularly updated and improved.

The more you get to know Flexicontent the better it gets. Everyday I think of new ideas and Flexicontent really makes it possible and quite easy to implement all the things I want to do. A perfect tool for the creative mind.

The forum is great, easy to find solutions and the staff present is very helpfull. Even though they are mostly French people they try their best to respond in English. Which is quite a big deal if you ever met the French in general.

Some things could be better, but that's normal right. It doesn't weigh so heavily cause it's very alive and growing/improving. I tried many other content managers but Flexicontent has stole my designer heart.

Am nearly finished now, with the other content managers I was stuck for weeks and never found any solutions on their forums.

This extension is simply a masterpiece! It allows to easily create content types and to display them like you want.
I'm using it for making an idea management system, in which users can propose and then discuss ideas. These ideas (I've made a content type for them) can be rated, and then they are displayed ordered by the average of their votes: best rated ideas are shown before others.
Support is simply EXCELLENT!!! Developers answered me on their forum in minutes, for many questions I had. But that's not all. I desperately needed the possibility to display content items ordered by the average of their rating (for the idea management system I told before), and I was close to a deadline for this project. I asked developers if they could implement this feature, and they implemented it before the date they had planned, and released a beta of the new version of FLEXIcontent containing this feature so that I could use it for my university project before the deadline. Thank you very much for making this extension, and thank you for your great support!

Can't believe the development of this component goes from Strength to strength. Its a great idea and George the developer is most helpful. He finds time amazingly I may add to assist, respond in the forums, create new functionality for other components to integrate with FLEXIcontent, all whilst improving the application building new functionality. The ability of the component to have specific article types is great when used in a multi user environment as bespoke article types can be created to suit specific needs.

Incredible support, tremendous extended functionality added to normal Joomla articles and category. Possibly the most important thing though, they actually listen to user input. New features are added on an almost weekly basis with release candidates being made available for download on their Google Code page.

Support is amazing as well. The developers answer ALL support questions within 2 hours. These developers really do care about their product and it shows in leaps and bounds.

I cannot recommend this highly enough. If you want to add increased functionality to your normal Joomla articles, then this is the only component you will ever need! 5/5!

So FLEXIcontent is SUPER powerful! waaaay more than my simplistic knowledge was able to manage, but much to my surprise, I opened tickets on the support forum, and ggppdk, a FLEXIcontent Core Developer, not only responded quickly, but provided so much support and assistance, even at point, restoring a corrupted file for us, that there is no reason to use any other solution. This extension is super powerful (way more than K2) and with this level of support, you can make it do and integrate with 99% of the other extensions out there. So much so in fact, that I sent a email to the 2J development team about how to integrate their gallery with FLEXIcontent, even though their own dev team told me that it could not done.

Like I said at the beginning – this extension is SUPER powerful and the support is Super Fantastic!! You simply cannot go wrong with this choice.
