Disabled function error in image field [server with snuffleupagus]

Hi,

We have a field image with source: Item_Field Specific folder

We can upload the image and select it with no problem. Everything works accordingly. When we save, we get the following:

Fatal error: [snuffleupagus][disabled_function] Aborted execution on call of the function 'shell_exec', because its argument '$command' content (which convert 2>&1) matched a rule in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/components/com_flexicontent/librairies/phpthumb/phpthumb.functions.php on line 488

When we try to go back to the item, we get the same error.

Joomla: 3.9.16
FlexiContent: 3.3.2
PHP: 7.3.16

it is server configuration that is throwing this error

Yes, I tried them first. It's on a dedicated server with WHM and cPanel. Thay said I need CloudLinux on top of that. I don't think it should be related.

Any clue on what's missing on the server?

your server is running snuffleupagus alternative to suhosin and mod_security
a rule has been triggered that stops PHP execution

please go to section 1.6
and read about snuffleupagus

I disabled snuffleupagus and everything works as usual.
