it is strange that you get global config of joomla, the global config of flexicontent should appear instead.

Did you try clicking both links that link to FLEXIcontent configuration:
1. inside the warning message
2. the configuration button at the top right

Les chmood sur les dossiers sont Ok.
Je peux aller dans la config du site et modifier des paramètres de joomla et les enregistrer

Serveur linux php 5.2.9

essai de refaire l'install comme un update sans desintaller pour voir

It is not possible to debug without access to site.

A question,
did you initially try to install the FLEXIcontent v1.5.6 for J1.5 on this site?

Can you also test on a new installation?

sinon essaie
backup avec ackeeba
installation en local de flexi voir ci ca passe
rebackup
puis installation de la save sur le site
