FLEXIcontent - Notifications

Bonjour,

Je cherche à configurer le plugin de notification de flexicontent avec joomla 2.5 et la version de flexicontent 2.0 RC8 r1465.

J'ai essayé avec notifyarticlesubmit mais en vain.Dans les deux cas aucun email n'est envoyé.

Si quelqu'un pouvait m'orienter sur la démarche pour configurer l'un ou l'autre, je suis preneur.

NotifyArticleSubmit is very good component, but for FLEXIcontent a lot more is needed for 3 reasons:

after thinking about Content submit/update Notifications for FLEXIcontent,
i realized we have 4 issue-problems with using a any COM_CONTENT notifications extension:

- a. We have non-standard item states , which are important particularly 'Pending Approval' State which require Publication Approval
- b. We have document versioning , in particular unapproved version , which require Reviewal and Approval
- c. We have multiple categories per item.
- d. We would want to have the notifications properties as Global / per Content Type / per Category

For these reasons i have added (mostly done) notifications that cover the above
and this will be available very soon

Because this is important i have decided to add and at the same time making some work-flow cleaning for it to be just a little more intuitive.

I am mostly done but i need to added to test it and backend to backend.

I ll make a build for you and a couple of other people that want to test this.

almost done with notifications

Just current implementation after
-- collecting all data userlist and usergroups for Content Type / item's categories
-- and converting groups to userlists and merging them with the userlists configured
-- and then to user emails
-- and selecting the appropriate one for the current item saving case

i am looking into how to send email with only BCC entries

For now that will solve ours most basic notification problems! For now you need it only for a few users.

Don't want to rush you... but, when you expect to submit these changes?

Commited it and tested for J2.5, did not have time to test for J1.5 but it should work.

There quite a few of new options , remember to enable debug option during testing and read description of debug parameter

Note 1:
-- notifications are:
1. Global -> then overriden per Content Type
2. Category specific notifications will not be sent if in Content Type parameters the notifications enable parameter is OFF

Note 2:
-- to avoid too many mail notifications,
notifications are sent ONCE per USER session, so multiple saves will only send one notification, or on every time the item's categories are changed,

-- if you enable debug (please do while testing) then the notifications will be sent on every save

I've tested several times with J2.5 and debug ON without success. No email sent - No error msgs.
