Images not showing in blog view for new content

Only for new content, the images are not shown in the blog view. Old content works fine. I believe that the older content has been added under a previous release of FlexiContent.

I also use the module AiDaNews, which display the images correctly for the new and old content. So I expect there is nothing wrong with the content and the images.

Does anyone has any clou on how to get the images to show up in blog view?

Thanks in advance.

Anton

Hi Micker,

I did the following:
- disable 'strip html' (twice);
- purged cache.

In the front end, both the thumbnail and the article image were shown (so double images). To remove the double images, I enabled 'strip html' again (twice). The old - unwanted - situation was restored:
- thumbnails of recent content not shown in blog view;
- thumbnails of old contact shown in blog view.

With kind regards,

Anton

Hi Micker,

Already tried it. The behavior is consistent. All categories hide the images of new content, whereas of old content the images are shown correctly.

Do know if it's possible to enable logging within flexicontent to see if it generates any errors?

With kind regards,

Anton

Found the root cause.

The new images were stored in a folder on the server that contained a space character. Apparently, I changed from editor between the old and new articles. The new editor replaced the space character by %20. This caused FlexiContent (and K2, with which I tested the content also) to ignore the images.

Conclusion: never use spaces in folder names.
