Hi,

you have to assigne in the catagory itself how it should be displayed in frontend. Then when generating a menuelink, just choose flexicontent > category > and select your category from the list.

In flexicontent the look of a category is assigned to the category (same for article) and not to the menuelink.

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
