Hi,
I don't know what happens with you cache, but this can be solved by disabling the advanced cache in flexicontent's configuration.
Cheers,

I am having the same problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Flexi twice now. Reinstalling Joomla is absolutely not an option for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ahhh, seems we are having the same issues. Mine happened when I removed an article using the com_content from the joomla backend. Then trying to view any articles from Flexi is not working. Getting same error as previously stated in this threat. Also tried turning off advance caching, no luck.

Hi Guys and thanks a lot for taking time to provide me feedbacks ;)
This is only a temporary solution that will allow you to work without cache. But the most urgent is that it functions for you, right?
1° - Disable Joomla cache and Flexicontent's cache
2° - Install the system plugin enclosed (you don't need to install the old one as it will be automatically updated)
3° - Purge all existing cache

Tell me if it works :)
Cheers,
Emmanuel.

PS: I'll then need your help for the true definitive fix. As nobody in my team experienced it before, I'm unable to reproduce it. If you could provide me an access to your website, it would be great (if it's not a customer live site, of course).

Emmanuel,

Thank you for the new information. I've tested a few more things out and hopefully can shed a little light on the error.

Before installing your new module version I did the following:

(1) Turn off caching both in Joomla and in Flexi.
(2) Clean out entire Cache.

This alone fixed the problem. I could now view all the articles fine through Flexi. I then added new articles, and also worked fine. However, I then turned caching back on, and the error immediately appeared again. Checking the cache, the only items that were in the cache pertained to: "com_flexicontent_cats"

This error occured again when I had only turned back on the Joomla caching and had not turned on Flexi Advance cache again at all. So I'm guessing something is going on with com_flexicontent_cats and the joomla cache.

I'll set you up with an admin account on my set to check it out and PM you with that information.

Hope this helps. I have not yet installed your new plugin and will wait until you have a chance to check out the site to hopefully give you a better idea on the error.

Josh.
