mmm, at the menu there should be 3 top level frontend elements
1. articles
2. menu
3. components

but there you only have 2. menu and 3. components

Please go to FLEXIaccss main screen and click "Globla configuration" , then make sure that the parameter "Disable content tree" is not enabled !!!

After that go back to FRONTend & Content and then "articles" should appear, then follow the instructions given in my previous POST

Emmanuel has prepared FLEXIaccess v1.0.6 with support for the new features of v1.5.6 and also a few minor of bug fixes (and the a bug fix for GZIP issue)
v1.0.6 will be announced together with v1.5.6 and v2.0

Regards

Front-end item view in RC4 is much more user friendly, with better messages (hopefully generic enough not to be intrusive) and also the item edit form and item submission menu item are improved the latter is more intuitive , stay tuned ;) i will make a nightly build or maybe RC4 , today or in weekened

Is there any reason:

Did you reach the point of clicking "Frontend & content"

then at the left of the screen there is a small tree

the small tree would not show up?

Display Tree is not disabled in the General Configuration.

Hello,
General Configuration? you mean of FLEXIaccess right ? (not of FLEXIcontent)

Also you do not mention what version of FLEXIcontent /FLEXIaccess you are using

Hello,
it is not easy to help you here, as
- i am not developer of FLEXIaccess itself, although i have studied the code of it
- we now focus on J2.5 ACL

The tree does not show at all or is it missinge some part?

It does not show up at all. The installation goes well, the rules show up, group creation and back end permissions work well. Just the frontend section seems to have a bug.
I am definitely not an expert, but seems like something does not install correctly.

I have attached the screenshot.

Thought it was worth asking, in case someone else had the same problem.
I guess I will just use another extension then. Thanks anyway.

Hello,

Thank you for that.
I have tried both, first 1.0.5a_fixed and then 1.0.6_fixed and no change. Still the tree in Frontend&Content does not show up, and everything else is just as it should be. The Backend&Specific tree does show up (but again that was happening while using 1.0.5 as well).

Thank you for your effort.

Regards,
Tijana
