Filter view in the Joomla native content menu

Hello,

I have today another question !
I search the forum but i didn't found a concrete solution.

In a J2.5 and FC2.x, i have 2 types of content : the native article and some special articles with additionnal fields managed with FC.

As the website is for non experts administrator, i would like to have this :
- in Component > Flexicontent, i would like to see only my content managed by FC
- In Content > Manage articles, i would like to see only the "original" content without the additional fields for the other type managed by FC.

If i set the plugin "FC system" to route to "classical Joomla view" to manage the native Joomla articles, i have all the content and the content with additionnal fields managed with FC.

I can filter by myself the content, but for a person who is not "advised", there is the risk to edit a content in the wrong place and so, a risk to loose the content of the FC additional fields.

So, to be quick : is there a way to show only the "native Joomla articles" in the native Joomla content menu and only the "FC contents" in the Flexicontent Menu ?

Thanks (again !),

To cut a long story short, at the moment, if you want to use FlexiContent all articles should be managed by that component. If you aren't using any additional fields or multi-category assignments, you can just uninstall FlexiContent and no information will be lost.

Also have a look here: flexicontent.org/forum/index.php ... pic#p27657

Ok, i accept "the tap on my hand" response.
"You use FC or you don't. Don't ask, we have allready say no kid !"

Well... Ok, i use the FC screen to manage the content.
But in this case, i can maybe write this in another way : is that possible to add a new menu item in the admin to "pre-filter" the list shown ?
Even if the "admin users" can change the filter after, it can be less confusing to manage, no ?

Thanks :)

I am sorry, I did not want to "tap on your hand". I am German, perhaps we Germans are sometimes too direct... What I wanted to say is, that at the moment it makes no sense to mix "normal" Joomla content and menus with FlexiConten ones, because FlexiContent is designed to take over article and category management completely. FC is using com_content and does not built an own micro cosmos like Zoo, K2 or other CCKs. This has advantages and disadvantages.

If you create a "normal Joomla" type with no additional fields and "non normal" types with additional fields, it might be able to do what you want. But I am not so deep into rights management with FC. Perhaps somebody else can help.

in plugin systeme of flexicontent you can select automatic redirection for com_content and flexicontent editing ? that what you want?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
