Hi,

Is there anything I need to enable to make the backend thumbnail to display in field "image"?

My fields in the backend seem to be using small thumbnail size, rather than the backend size.

FLEXIContent 2.0.0 RC9b (r1601)

Thanks,

Robert

Hello,
backend thumbnail of image field is used in items manager listings (extra items manager fields are configurable in global parameters and in Content Type edit form)

you have mean there or in a different place in backend?

OK - I understand now:

I thought they would display in the "edit item" view - as my image is 300px x 300px - so looks a little large.

Thanks,

Robert

Hello,

the item form is both frontend and backend, in item form the small thumbnail is used, maybe we could add thumbnail for form too, but we would be getting image field configuration even bigger ...

Hi,

Its difficult as I realize FLEXIcontent has so many features - so I am sure it doesn't need to be added.

When training people, some seem to find it difficult to uploading images - so I would suggest simplifying it:

1. moving: file types & max size to bottom
2. making the fields able to be set in the fields view

I have attached a diagram to show...

Thanks,

Robert

-- Yes, minimizing displayed stuff makes form less intimidating to the users

-- We have these in configuration of other fields
