Item submission form question

Hello,

I have a specific content type and template.

I'd like the user to submit content with the item sumbission form.

I wasn't able to find:
a) a way to hide the category on the item (and force it to a specific value)
b) a way to hide the language selection from this form.

I tried to modify the Basic Options of the Item Submission form but it didn't work.

after creat a ACL for user group,
doesn't allow to change categorie and translation item
there are automaticly hide in form

no if you use flexicontent 2.0.2 and joomla 2.5 use joomla ACL and FLEXIcontent

Je suis vraiment désolé mais je ne trouve pas du tout où je peux gérer l'ACL des langues de Flexicontent ou des catégories... J'ai cherché dans les champs, les types, les templates et sur le menu Item Submission form... :oops:

for categories it is like standard Joomla ACL
(please read how Joomla ACL works)

edit the category or top-most category that you wish and set ACL "create" privilege for each of your user-groups, this change will effect the category and all sub-categories

Thus if your user-belongs to UserGroup-A , he/she will be able to assign item to the categories that he has "create" privilege

About (limit languages per user , go to author management and edit the desired user to set the allowed languages for him/her,)
-- limiting languages per user group (thus effecting many users at once) is not YET available
