[Fixed r1794] Subcats in "My items" show all assigned items

I created a FC "My items" menu item in the user menu so the users can review their own submitted articles.

But when the user clicks on that menu item he gets just the normal category view and ALL articles in the category are displayed, not just his own. Why is this menu item called "My items" when it displays ALL items and not only the user's items?

How do I set up the desired "My items" page?

i cannot replicate this behavior/bug,

first, please double check the MENU ITEM type of "my items", that it is really of type FLEXIcontent "My Items"

then if you still have a problem we can check for a possible bug

Thanks for the hint but I checked already 5 times, plus if it would not be FLEXIcontent "My Items" I would not be able to choose a category.

The user sees all items that were added in the backend by the admin and his own in that chosen category.

ok, if you are sure that you do not have 2 menu items with same name,

or 2-3-4 menu items (language) associated together that are not of correct type

then you may send me a PM with

- frontend URL of the menu item
- menu item ID and the MENU name that contains the menu item
- site URL and super admin login

- i logged and clicking on my items" menu item,
no items were displayed for my account

- then creating an item for my account and it was displayed at frontend (for "my items" menu item)

-- so, are you talking about the links to sub-categories ?
yes these do not link to "my items" !, you should disable the display to sub-category links
in future version we may update these links to create "my items" links, i will make an issue in bug tracker

The setup of my site allows every registered user to submit a story in every "location" sub/category. So I have to give the user in "my items" the top category of all "location" categories and let him browse through the subcategories to find/review/change his stories.

I would appreciate if we could have that new "my items" subcategories feature. Thank you.

However I face problems in the lower levels of the categories. When you log in my site and click on "My User Stories" you see that the start category is now correct but when you click on "Africa":

1. there is the search/filtering missing and no indication of the amount of stories in the categories

2. when you click on "Africa" again, the user should find his two stories, but there are still all articles displayed

3. in the right upper corner there is this strange code: Which results in a link "Add new content Add new content"

yes the links do not include current filtering, maybe this is an improvement we can do

One is the text and the other is the icon, but it can not be loaded in you page so ... the alternative text of the icon image is displayed which is add new content

I think this is necessary to provide some usable workflow for the user. Otherwise he is lost on that page.

Yes, this is the problem. From the usability view I think all levels and everything displayed in the link "My Items" should be only "My Items" in every aspect.
