Hello
I want to create an horizontal universal module displaying only one visual on the page in J3 (one visual replace another).

The width of the module is to be 100% of the page width.

Of course the width of the page is variable (following the width of the browser).

Which value do I need to enter in the item width field of the module.

As exemple I wish to get something like ' www.marvelic.co.th/ ' home page.

thank you for help

best regards

Michel

Hello

please
1. ONLY direction to vertical, has responsive reaction to the available width, so please use vertical direction
2. and set: Vertical parameters:
# items: 1
bottom margin: 0

Also in r1803:
# (a) Improved carousel template of universal module in 2 aspects,
(i) to have various easing / bouncing effects (default parameter value is exponential easing),
(ii) improved display of vertical mode to display previous/next handles above and below the items with appropriate CSS styling,

Regards

hello

I have tried the new Universal module with vertical direction.

I have a problem with the height of the image. I have selected large thumbnail and given the image field to be diplayed. I have given 3000 for width and 400 for height.

I want the height to be 400 and the image to be croped.

It's working with IE10 but not with FF and not with Chrome.

You can find and exemple here : art.bibliactiv.com

thank you for help

Hello

there is a js error in this page, maybe this is effecting the sizing of the module

-- try testing in the module with a menu item that shows e.g. the login screen
-- if you still have JS errors try temporarily disabling some system plugins of extensions like widgetkit

Hello

I have done some tests :

I'm on J 3.2 and FC V1804.

I have done tests on IE10, FF, Chrome and Opera.

I have replaced the flexicontent component on home page by connexion component. => the problem remains.

I have desabled all widgetkit I have :
    system widgetkit
    system widgetkit Joomla
    system widgetkit ZOO

It's working on IE10, FF, Opera and only sometimes on Chrome.

Using of control playback : integrated control : same result as before (with no control playback).

External control playback : Doesn't work on all browser's type. I think it's a javascript problem : the icons appear with loading but no image is displayed.

In my test I display only images without any text.

I have desabled Easy Jquery : the problem remains.

thank you for help

best regards

Michel
