[not avail] How to setup "translation groups" for csv import

How do I set up a field that contains the "translation groups" definition for my bilingual items?

Second question: What is the "Item Separator"? Is this the separator for multiple values in a field?

cheers

Hello

- item associations (translation groups) are NOT supported / implemented by import task

Item Separator is usually new line,
it does what it says it separates ITEMS

if some field e.g. description contains new line you can add text in appropriate quotes or use a different ITEM separator, it depends on you CSV format, you can use

Thanks. Ok, so it is implemented. How do I use it? I mean, what is the column heading and what is the value that indicates which items are in one "translation group"?

I still dont get what the Item Separator does. A new item in a csv is a new row, why would the system need a separator for a row? Sorry for a potentially dump question...

A csv export would come in handy here to see what FC Import expects to find in a csv import file.

I missed adding the NOT in my previous post

Some CSV files may not use new line (\n)
they may use some other separator
e.g.
\n~~

because \n appears inside the text of some fields

Before that happens other work will be done,
i mean it this is not in the short-term planning

Hello

other CSV files may use \n as item separator, but they may also have a
Field Encloser Character
e.g. quote "

that will make sure that new line inside a field text will not be mistaken for item separator
