Delete Images from an Image field which uses folder mode?

Hi there!

I use an image field which is configurated to use folders for image storing. So in the item form I click 'choose image' and a popup appears.

It shows a simple/multiple uploader and a table listing already uploaded images. However I cannot see a delete button anywhere.

Is it possible somehow? This would really simplify things and help to let the site stay small in size!

Thank you guys!

did you check ability delete image for user in image field ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hi Micker,

Sorry I was on vacation in the last weeks.
Unfortunately I was not able to find the option you were describing.

Just to make sure we talk about the same thing, I attached a screenshot showing what I'm looking for.

Hello

can the administrator delete them ?

also did you give to the user group of your user the permission:

Files: (Global Only): delete
?

Hi!

I assigned the Files: delete right to Admins (and of course Super Users).

Neither Super Users nor Admins seem to be able to delete those images though.

Thanks for your help! :)

Hello

i looked at the screen capture that you post,

in the screen capture you have distorted the image thumbnails,

but i think i can see the delete icon at the left of the image thumbnail
