[SOLVED] ERROR 1062, duplicate DB row in flexicontent_templates DB table

Hello,
today a strange error is appeared suddenly: error 1062.

"1062 Duplicate entry 'blog-category-above-description-line1-nolabel' for key 'PRIMARY' SQL=INSERT INTO xxx_flexicontent_templates (`template`, `layout`, `position`, `fields`) VALUES('blog','category','above-description-line1-nolabel','created,created_by') "

Is there anybody could help me in order to fix it?
Now i cannot use anymore Flexicontent, it's completely blocked.

go to phpmyadmin and check and repair the DB table

you posted a picture of table listing ?


you need to
1. go to the db table listing (click on db name)
2. select tables and click repair

-- if the above does not work
then you will need to empty the table (empty, not delete it)

and then READD all fields to template positions again

(you may want to back the table first)

Just for the record, i have the same error after changing the domain name.
I tried to repair without success. I'm going to erase the data in the table and recreate it.
Anyway, i saw change in the blog page : all the template made by myself are unchanged.

this is rare case, but it is fixed in v2.2.1 RC2 (which is not yet released, (it is v2.2.x_stable branch on GitHub))

To complete :
This issue loose the parameters done in categories too : i have to set up again the views of items (as the square area on the top appears again despite i hide it).

In fact, the template parameters are not lost, i'm wrong here.
After erasing data in the table, FC seems to put the default initial settings for the "default" template.

All is right now on my side.

yes the template parameters are not lost, template parameters are store in categories and in content types and items

and as said above this rare issue, is fixed in upcoming v2.2.1 rc2 +
