Hello

I'm using Universal Content Module (Select version) in articles and categories pages.

I want to give the list of all other articles in the same category.

As I have a lot of categories I'm using the dynamic behaviour for category selecting. I want to avoid the creation of a module for each category.

On an article page : no problem I get all others articles of the same category in a select field.

On a category page : I get nothing.

Is it possible to use the dynamic behaviour on the category page ?

The url is : koltora.net

thank you for advices

best regards

Michel

sorry category behavior isn't done

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,

it was not done because it was mostly not meaningful,
and propably very easy to add

do you mean to show items of same category as current category being shown by the component ?

Of course in most case it's unusefull to display twice the same information.

I think in my current case it's usefull :

I display in the site videos (1 video is 1 article). In some categories I get more than 100 videos.
On each page 20 thumbnails of videos are displayed with the title of the video.

Some users know those videos and need to access as quickly as possible to the one they want to see.

I have added a 'select' Universal Module to give them the list of all the videos of the category.

It's displayed on the article page and it helps them to go from one video to the other.

They have asked me to display also this on the category page to avoid to open multiple page to get the searched one.

best regards

Michel
