Hello !

maybe it would be a feature suggestion... don't know...

is there any way to keep testing the weblink field in live ?

for exemple, each day, making an extract of the weblinks and then, testing them ? I'm not good at php developper, so, I was thinking making a mysql request to extract the url and then, a wget on it, but I don't think it's really good idea :/

maybe you have better suggestion to do that ?

thx !

ok I'll try to explain better.

I have a field using Weblink type in some items.

But, I'd like to check the validity of my weblink. Why ?
because the target get updated regulary, and they do not redirect to keep up to date the link (don't ask why ;) )

so, I have something like more than 300items with weblinks that I should verify the validity regulary.

do you see my problem here ? in you opinion, which solution would be the best to test the 300 weblinks of my 300items ?

Do you think it would be possible to create an alert cehcking and extract of this weblinks via flexicontent ?

maybe you can use fleximport :
-exporting your item with field by cron task
