This is not so much of a HOW-TO but a Question. Are there plans to have FLEXIContent work with JReviews.

Hi,
Sorry but I don't know this component and don't want to pay to test it ;-)
Best solution would probably be to ask the author.
The integration is probably easy to do as FLEXIcontent uses default core's content and categories tables.
Cheers,
Emmanuel.

Hi, just a tip from a long time user of JReviews. I'm evaluating FlexiContent right now as an alternative to JReviews. If you have JReviews, you really shouldn't need FlexiContent, since JReviews allows you to do most of the same things like creating content types, fields, special templates for different layouts, etc. And, it has deeper reviews capabilities (obviously!).

FlexiContent also has very nice features, like nested categories, but the point is: you can probably just use one or the other.

Hope that helps.

Thanks @aphilis for this summary. FLEXIcontent, is NOT a proper review component.
I someone develops a review fields it could become one, but until that...
I'm finishishing a multivote field which will allow you very soon to soon to build things like that

Cheers,
Emmanuel.

Hello.. Emmanuel
Man..What are you doing?
WAWO... Flexi-content is Too Flexible.. no-limitations.. For me the top best over other CCK are:
1- simple clean version-ing.
2- Use of Joomla native Core Plug-ins
3- The new upcoming (RC) Templates systems
4- The flexible and nice Jommlafish-Flexicontent translation systems
5- The multi-mapping system
6- The Filtering system
7- the Current and upcoming Advanced Search system..
8- And much more..
God Blesses you..
thanks a lot Emmanuel :P
