did you create a default search view and link to module

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

i created a module "advanced search" with the id of my menu ...
That's it ?

Today, i override language for FLEXI_ORDERBY_INFO and FLEXI_PAGINATION_INFO to explain that users need to click on Search button another time after they have change options

Hello

-- the items per page is not the number of the items that the search plugin returns

there is a parameter on how many results the search plugin will return called

"Search Limit", default is 50

you can change this in plugin settings (FLEXIContent advanced search plugin) or

override it at the bottom of the search menu item

Hello

it seems that search module is not configured to use a specific search menu item

and you have 2 or more search menu items ?

please edit the search module, and check which search menu item is configured to be used as target of the search

That's what i did ...
I reinstalled the search like this :

1- In Menu Manager, I add a new menu , Title :"Advanced search menu"
I created an new Menu Items,
Title : Advanced search menu item
Menu Item Type : Search (STANDARD SEARCH LAYOUT DESC)
I left basic options
The id of menu item is 930

2- In module manager :
i created an "Advanced search Module for flexicontent published with :
Forced menu item : Custom (below)
Custom menu itemid : 930 (the item menu id)

3- In plugin
In plugin manager :
Only Search – Flexiadvsearch, FLEXIcontent search view is ENABLE
(all other search module are disable, even Search – Flexisearch, for Joomla standard search view))

With this configuration, i only see 10 answers for a search word than have more than 200 answers

4- in the menu items, i changed the fronted overrides, only the select avaible options # per page (200)

But i still have only 10 answers

5- if i change the fronted overrides # per page to yes, i have a selected box, but at the first click stil have 10 answers.

My boss and users don't understand that they must change the select box AND after click on the search button

That's why i would like more than 10 results at the first click or an "on change" on the select box ...

Thanks for your help
Best regards

Hello

please install v2.2.1 or v3 BETA5a !

- and make sure that you have set in the search module configuration a specific menu item

- also in component parameters set a desired default menu item for the search view

Hello

you can show the "per page" drop down selector in search view,

but there is no parameter "per page" in the search view configuration

-- so the default value for "per page" in component parameters is used, which is 10,

either, you can change the component default
or, add this:
Code:
<field name="limit" type="text" size="4" default="10" label="FLEXI_NUM_PER_PAGE" description="FLEXI_NUM_PER_PAGE_DESC" menu="hide" />

to file:
component/com_flexicontent/views/search/tmpl/default.xml
just above:
<field name="search_limit" ...

we will be adding per page parameter in good place
