[SOLVED] Possible bug saving universal module in v3 beta5a

Hi,
I don't know where to report this kind of issue as beta is beta.
In the beta5, in Universal Content Module for FLEXIcontent, in the layout news tab : if you change the number of items for the standard item (2 by default), the value come back to 2.

in fact ALL your parameters should not be possible to change if you use news or carousel template,


you probably have PHP variable
max_input_vars

to the default value of 1000


which is not enough to save the module form

I put max_input_vars=4000

I use the news template and obviously i cannot change the parameters.

Is there a way to change the parameters in the news template ?

1. either the setting is not in effect
2. or you have suhosin module installed in your server so you would need to add settings for them too, (as mentioned in our FAQ article)

in your case the setting is not in effect,
after adding the new value to .htaccess, you should check that it is actually in effect, you can ask your web host provider to do this for you

1. The setting is not in effect ? I put "news" and change the number of article in the news tab.. Did i misunderstood ? I check the max_input_var, it's at 5000 in php info. All seems like you told me.
2. I have not suhosin module.

For the max var, in the joomla system information, i have this :
max_input_vars 5000 5000

But it doesn't work better with this... I cannot change the number of columns...
Is there something else to check ?

If there is no immediate solution, where are stored the values in the database : i will change it directly with phpmyadmin as i want to change only the "2" colums in "1" column in the news tab....
