Hello

I try to order a textfield (number/time/etc/custom validation) by a customfilter like these values 0,56 km, 9,40 km or 45,55 km. "km" is not a part of the value. "km" will be added to the field by field-config.

I tried 110:decimal:asc and 110:num:asc.

110:num:asc has a problem to filter values over 1,00 km. e.g 9,4 km should be bigger than 88,54 km.!????

110:decimal:asc hasn`t these probleme. 88,54 km is not bigger than 9,4 km:) but this filter thinks 0,17 km is a bigger value than 0,94 km:(

It would be great someone has a solution:)

update - 15:40:

I`m afraid it ignores 88,54 km, 12,43 km and so on.

There is an other probleme: To use much more than one customfilters, it only accepts the last filter:

110:decimal:asc:kürzeste_Entfernung-dezi,
110:num:asc:kürzeste_Entfernung-num,
110:int:asc:kürzeste_Entfernung-int,
110:date:asc:kürzeste_Entfernung-date

I use Flexicontent v3.0.7.

The environment:

Linux d10236 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.68-1+deb7u3 x86_64 (Debian 7.9)
Datenbankversion 5.6.25-73.1 (Percona-Server, Mysql)

Hello

you want to
- order the values of a (field) filter in category/search view ?
or
- order the items listing in category view ?

which of the above ?
i guess you mean: the items listing in category view ?

did you also select the new order in the frontend ordering selector,
and after frontend form submited , does the fronted order selector appear active with this new order ?

yes, I add the order in the global config for all categories,

then I clean the cache, refresh the page and order the items by the new selctor in the frontend. the selector is not manual, it`s automatic.

the result with "decimal" is super, only <1,00 the order is wrong.

I will try it by manual submit. just a minute. thanks for your help...

update: manual submit the same result

update 2: now "decimal" has also a prob >1 :(

the link to the page is: regio.center/index.php?option=com_flexic...ory&cid=2&Itemid=441

the page is not official yet...
