How do I show the image thumbnail in the Categories view?

I'd like to know if it's possible to show the image thumbnail in the Categories view, i.e. on the front end list. How would I accomplish this?

Do you mean category image or the image of an item? Anyway, there are options in category settings.

If you want to show the "intro / full" images in your "items" (articles) listing then:
- create an image field and SET "source" parameter to be "Intro / full" and then add this new image field into a template position

Since my articles are so small in my layout, I don't want the "FULL" image, I want the thumbnail so I can save a little space, but I want the viewer to be able to see the image in the article before they click on it to see the details. Is this possible?

- add this new image field into a position of a CATEGORY layout and it will show the "INTRO" image
- add this new image field into a position of a ITEM layout and it will show the "FULL" image

further more you can re-thumbnail it in image field configuration or ... select not to re-thumbnail it and instead "Use original"
