How to insert shortcode

Hi, I am using Blox Page Builder to build pages. That builder gives me a shortcode to copy and insert into editor.
Looks like this:
{blox_page id=2 title="Jinchi, Andrei and I at cottage and boating (2021)" }
I insert it into FLEXIcontent and it formats in HTML as "<p>{blox_page id=2 title="Jinchi, Andrei and I at cottage and boating (2021)" }</p>"
So, I cannot see the Blox page I built, just the insertion shortcode itself. When I tested the regular Joomla editor, it showed the Blox page. How can I insert shortcode using FLEXIcontent?
I already tried HTML button, which shows the above HTML code and tried the "insert {} code sample", neither opens the completed Blox page.

Hello at first édit field where you add shortcode and check that you allow to trigger joomla plugin (in description field too)

Hmm, I am not sure how I can allow to trigger joomla plugin. I don't see this option in the editor under description. I also searched global configuration and options and can't find anything to allow triggers either. Can you explain where I would go to allow trigger for joomla plugins?
By inserting the code, I just do paste...

Hello again and thank you for pointing me to some useful info. That being said, I cannot get it to work.
There is nothing in this or previous documentation that tells me where to either insert the code to run triggers or where to go in the Flexicontent configuration in joomla to change settings, as shown in screenshot.
I have looked through entire configuration for Flexicontent in joomla and see no such fields as in that screenshot. Same with article settings, I don't see these fields. I have no idea which file's unique php code I must modify, if that's what it'll take.
I believe you're on the right track to a solution here, I just have no idea how I can enable triggering the content.
Any ideas? Thank you very much!

Just to post an update, it is still not working. What I have found is how to enable plugins in description, as per one of the links you sent.
For anyone looking in future, I found the buttons under: Components>Flexicontent>Fields. I then clicked on "Description" field, clicked on Viewing tab on the side and enabled Trigger Content Plugins.
I went to my article in question, from the top selected More>Edit Layout & Global Parameters and confirmed my "Description" field is set to display in description of my layout.
This still doesn't display my Blox page and still shows the code on screen. Please let me know what else I can do to fix this, once you have a look at my PM.
