Hello,
I'am creating a J4 site from a J3 one. I don't want to upgrade the J3 as it's an old site and a lot of content is no more used.
So I'm creating a new J4 site copying the presently used datas.
The live site is : adcj.fr
The J4 site is : 2022.adcj.fr

On the home page I display  the covers of the publications creeated by ADCJ.
the page is like that :

The image I get on J4 is the following :

the page is a 'Flexicontent category' one.
Each flexicontent article is a summary, covers and infos about the publication.
On J4 presently I have 2 publications

I want to display the title, the summary and the cover image.

I think I have put the same parameters in the category config, the category and the menu in J3 and in J4.

When I look at the source page, I see the cover JPG address and the summary text.

What can I do to get the same display in J3 and in J4.

Thank you for help
Best regards
Michel Rottenberg

you need to use grid template and check new params

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

The template I use is a "grid column template". I have no "grid template".

After a long search I have seen that I need to put HTML5 version as used version. Before I had 'Global Parameters'. What do I need to change to put 'HTML5' in the 'Global parameters'

But the result is not good.
I have asked those field :
  • above-description-line1-nolabel : TITLE
  • above-description-line2-nolabel : COUVERTURE (which the image of the article)
I want the description of the article under the image.

You can see the result I want in the old site :  adcj.fr/

On the new site I just display the descirption of the article with a standard image as background-image.

The result I get is displayed at the url :  2022.adcj.fr/

What do I need to do to get the same result as the one of adcj.fr

Thank you for recommandations

hello
1 put your title in above-description-line1-nolabel
2 don't use position for description and image
3 use fields params for standard item (display params tab => standard items tabs)
set number of columns
set content placement, cleared below
set image fit 'auto-fit'
to field tab
set description display to yes and set number of letter
and choose image couverture
that it

The situation has improved, but a problem remains with image.
these are the parameters I have set :

I get this result :

The image 'couverture' is not displayed.
If you click on lire la suite (detail article) the image is displayed.

What's wrong

Thank you for recommandations
