Permission for articles on frontend submission don't show up was created by Anonymous

Hey everybody,

Having an issue when trying to submit an article from the frontend where permissions don't show up. It looks like this: (attached)

It shows the permissions dropdown but you can't activate any of them on the right with the checkmarks. Anybody have an idea on why this is happening?

it flexiaccess panel ?
i think you can't change your permission in front because the level is to small

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

yeah i believe this is the flexiaccess panel for permissions. i had access to this before where i could change permissions in this dropdown but after the upgrade to 1.5.4 it doesn't seem to work anymore. it just shows grey checkmarks and doesn't allow you to assign any permissions for viewing.
