Hi all,

I have 3-level category and gave registered user permissions only last level of categories so they can create and edit own.
Menu is accessible, Type is accessible as well.
I find nothing to set up on FlexiAccess.
Registered user can see and click frontend Item submission menu, but nothing shows.
It's possible to access with Super user account without any problem. I think this problem definitely something to do with access level.

Edit:
Version: FC2.0 RC9 (r1514) installed.

I have created user group under Public.

If I set Crete&EditOwn permission on Global Configuration for registered user, registered user can access item submission form. However, They will also have permission for top category where I don't want them to create any articles. If I set deny permissions on top category then all of sub-category inherits and denied.

If I don't set Crete&EditOwn permission on Global Configuration for registered user. I can set Crete&EditOwn permission for categories where I want them to create articles. However, Users can not access Item submission form.

Do you have an item form template override?
(check your currently active template folder)

if so check for syntax error in the template override

if not, the blank page means a PHP fatal error, but PHP error reporting is off so you get a blank page,
in this case you can send me a PM with admin access and i will check for bugs

I have an item form template override and I am sure that there is no PHP error.

As I told you if I set Crete&EditOwn permission on Global Configuration for registered user, registered user can access item submission form. However, They will also have permission for top category where I don't want them to create any articles. If I set deny permissions on top category then all of sub-category inherits and denied.

I will leave it as it is, at least users can create and edit.
I would better consider disabling(grey out) categories on category drop-down in item submission form. Please let me know if there is way.

no don't reset it , just temporarily rename template override file and re-click the link leading to the form

I have disabled override default_categories.php
I set permission only on the last categories.
Not working.

Without reset permission , I just temporarily rename template override file.
Yes I can see the form.
But with override form, I can see as well.

there is no file default_categories.php in the item submission form, this is in item view (template file) but not in item edit form
