Maybe you have an item in an invalid state that we have not anticipated

-- Is this a new site?

-- Is this an existing site that was working till now?

-- The prompt "Add the items current versions", appears immediately or some hours or days later?

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
-- Add your voice to the FLEXIcontent JED listing with a 5-star review. Thanks!

Is an old site (j1.5) migrated to Joomla 2.5, with a new installation of flexicontent 2 (r1601).

prompt appears immediately, but do not disapear.

Try executing the following, in phpmyadmin to see if there is an article with zero category id
Code:
SELECT * FROM jos_content WHERE catid=0

There is something invalid / unexpected in your DB data

Send me a PM and if i find time i will test next days (we want to make the post-installations task tighter so that is why i am willing to test on your server despite the fact that current version task contains several steps and will need time to debug)

How did you do the upgrade from J1.5 to J2.5 ? (steps that you took and if you had any errors)

I want to clarify that i didn't make a really migration from 1.5 to 2.5, but just articles have been migrated. So, the site is new, joomla 2.5 based.
I tried to repair and optimized database's tables but i didn't have success (the problem persist).
If i disable plugin that manages flexicontent's contents, so restore the default cck, i can see all articles (i dunno if this thing can be important).

Btw, i've this problem since 3 days, concurrently with a hosting's problem, or rather, the server's virtual hard drive was full but now this problem was solved (i dunno if this thing can be important about database's problem).
I look forward to your response!
Thanks!

How did you migrate the articles?
Some migration tools/methods do not create the proper corresponding entries in the assets table.
This causes ongoing problems other extensions.

Also please provide:
- PHP version?
- MySQL version?

I migrated with tool (jupdate but i don't remember exactly).
I know that migrations can be difficult but i made it about 2 month ago and i didn't have problems! Why this problem is showing now and not before so?

Unfortunately, i can't see now mysql and php version 'cause the virtual memory of my hosting is full another time -.- (maybe they should fix it by tomorrow) but i know that they are updated.

i wouldn't want that the post-installations problem is based of hosting's problem (virtual memory full).
is it possible?
